Cruises for People with Disabilities

Today there are many choices of cruise ships and destinations and cruising has certainly gained popularity especially among people with disabilities. However, not all cruise lines cater to the disabled traveler yet. Likewise, most travel agents don't know the needs of people with disabilities. No two disabled persons are alike and each has their own set of special needs. At Best Bets Travel, we don't just 'sell' to travelers with disabilities, we cater to you. Elizabeth Kelly, CTC inspects cruise ships in a way no other travel agent does- in a wheelchair. Finding the right cruise is more than just booking an 'accessible cabin'.

What you can expect:Wheelchair Accessible Staterooms, Braille or Large Print Menus and daily agendas, TTY kits for Deaf cruisers, Sign Language Interpreters. Best Bets Travel will arrange accessible excursions and assist with Service Animal Permits.

I'm proud to say that I'm an active member of SATH (Society for Accessibility in Travel and Hospitality) and as such,I'm dedicated to providing travel arrangements to people with disabilities. I've studied the needs of the disabled traveler and have become an Accredited Disability Agent as well. Recently, the Travel Institute implemented an Accessible Travel Specialist course, which I'm proud to have completed.
